Distribution
Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, and Western Australia
Habitat
Mostly encountered indoors, but can also be found in forests.
Description
They are 20–25 mm long and have pale brown bodies with black markings. They look different from other centipedes as they have 15 pairs of long, jointed legs and a pair of slender antennae.
Food and Feeding
They are agile predators and eat spiders and other insects found in the house.
Danger and Health Risks
Can bite but are harmless to people.
